Campus Facilities Will Have Adjusted Hours for Spring Break

WACO, Texas (March 8, 2019) – Classes will not be held at Baylor University from Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, for spring break. Select campus facilities will operate at adjusted times.

Residence Halls

• Residence halls will remain open. However, there will be limited front desk availability.

Dining Halls and On-Campus Restaurants

• Brooks Great Hall will be closed Friday, March 8, through Sunday, March 17.
• Penland Crossroads will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 8. It will be closed Saturday, March 9, to Sunday, March 17.
• East Village Dining Commons will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 8. It will be closed Saturday, March 9, to Sunday, March 17.
• 1845 at Memorial will be open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 8. It will be closed Saturday, March 9, to Sunday, March 17.
• The Baylor Sciences Building Starbucks, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Which Wich will close at 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the week.
• Common Grounds, Freshii and Panda Express will close at 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break. Panda Express will open at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17.
• Chick-Fil-A and Steak ‘n Shake will close at 4 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the weekend. They will be open Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be closed Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17.
• Sic ‘em Snacks will close at 4 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break.
• Au Bon Pain in the Paul L. Foster Center for Business and Innovation will close at 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break.
• The Penland P.O.D. will close at 9 p.m. Friday, March 8. On Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will remain closed from Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 15. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 16, and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 17.
• Moody Starbucks will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 8, and remain closed throughout the weekend. From Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, it will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday, March 16, it will be closed and will reopen at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17.
• East Village Bakery will close at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break.
• The Law School Café will close at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break.

Libraries and Study Areas

• On Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, Central Libraries and Moody 24-hour areas will be closed. From Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, Central Libraries and Moody 24-hour areas will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will be closed Saturday, March 16. Normal hours of operation will resume on Sunday, March 17.
• Armstrong Browning Library will close at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and will remain closed throughout the weekend. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15. On Saturday, March 16, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it will be closed on Sunday, March 17.
• The W.R. Poage Library will be closed on Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15.
• The Graduate Research Center Incubator will be closed on Saturday, March 9, through Sunday, March 10. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15. It will be closed Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17.
• The Graduate Research Center will be closed Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15. It will be closed Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17.
• The Baylor Law School and Law Library will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 8, and remain closed throughout the weekend. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15. On Saturday, March 16, it will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Normal hours will resume Sunday, March 17.
• The Texas Collection Library will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the weekend. On Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17.
• The University Writing Center will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed until 9 a.m. Monday, March 18.

McLane Student Life Center/Recreation

• The bike shop and pool will be closed from Friday, March 8, through Sunday, March 17.
• The Pullin Family Marina will remain closed throughout spring break and will open for the spring semester Monday, March 18.
• The climbing rock will close at 6 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed through Sunday, March 17. It will reopen at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18.
• Russell Gym will close at 10 p.m. Thursday, March 7, and will remain closed through Sunday, March 17. It will reopen at 5 p.m. Monday, March 18.
• The McLane Student Life Center will close at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, and will remain closed through Sunday, March 10. From Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be closed on Saturday, March 16, and will reopen at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17.

Bill Daniel Student Center

• The SUB will close at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the weekend. From Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, it will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The building will be closed Saturday, March 16. On Sunday, March 17, it will be open from 2 to 8 p.m.

Baylor Bookstore

• The bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

Baylor Health Center Clinic

• The health center clinic will close at 6 p.m. Friday, March 8, and will remain closed throughout the break. However, the business office will be open for calls throughout the week.
