Shuttle Provides Rides To Baylor Home Football Games

September 10, 2004

by Kim Skinner, Student Newswriter

Since Baylor University's football stadium is not directly on campus, sometimes students might find it a challenge to get to the games. This year, University Operations and Host Services, in cooperation with Baylor University Shuttle, is solving this problem by offering a free ride from campus to Floyd Casey Stadium for all six home football games this season.
BUS service will begin two hours before kickoff for each home game. Two buses will run continual routes to and from the Bill Daniel Student Center and the football stadium every 10 minutes. At the conclusion of the games five buses will be positioned near the stadium to supply an efficient, quick ride back to campus.
Providing rides to football games is a long-standing tradition that University Operations and Host Services is bringing back this year. Students who take advantage of this will avoid the traffic and will not have to pay the parking fees. Students also are encouraged to bring their family members
