Christmas Tree Lighting Scheduled for Dec. 3

Kappa Omega Tau fraternity will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Fountain Mall on the Baylor University campus.
Tommy Nelson, youth director at Denton Bible Church and a college Bible study leader in Dallas, will speak at the event. The Wilshire, who have opened for Christian recording artist Michael W. Smith, will provide music for the evening.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Toys for Tots through the United States Marine Corps and students are encouraged to bring toys to donate for the children.
The lighting is an annual event which is free and open to the public. In case of rain, the festivities will be held in Waco Hall.
Sweatshirts commemorating the event are on sale for $22, with proceeds going to Toys for Tots.
