Campus Memorial Services To Be Held For Wilson, Jones; Service Pending For Conyers

Baylor University will be holding campuswide memorial services for three beloved faculty members - Dr. F. Ray Wilson, Robert B. Jones and Dr. A.J. (Chip) Conyers - who passed away in July.
A memorial service for Dr. F. Ray Wilson will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, in Powell Chapel at Truett Seminary. Wilson, who was professor of biology, director of the Honors Program and Master Teacher, died July 10 while on a study-abroad program in Rome. He was 62.
A memorial service for Robert B. Jones will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in Miller Chapel. Jones, a senior lecturer in management and entrepreneur-in-residence at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business, died July 13. He was 52.
A memorial service for Dr. Chip Conyers will be announced at a later date. Conyers, one of George W. Truett Theological Seminary's first faculty members, died July 18 in Houston following a long struggle with cancer. He was 60.
