WACO, Texas (April 27, 2018) - This week, Baylor University will host a concert and an exciting service of prayer and worship.

SUNDAY, April 29
Concert Band − The Baylor University Concert Band will present its annual spring program at 3 p.m. in Jones Concert Hall, Glennis McCrary Music Building, 110 Baylor Ave. The 77-member ensemble of woodwind, brass and percussion players is led by Steve Dailey, Baylor’s assistant director of bands. THURSDAY, May 3
Lift Up Your Hearts Worship Service − Baylor Spiritual Life will host a service of prayer and worship at 11 a.m. in the Paul W. Powell Chapel, George W. Truett Theological Seminary, 1100 S. Third St. A complimentary fellowship luncheon for faculty and staff will follow in the Seminary’s Great Hall provided by the Spiritual Life Advisory Committee, the President’s Office, Office of the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and the Office of Spiritual Life. Attendance at this service has been approved for the staff as a work-related event. However, staff members should make plans with supervisors for attending. FRIDAY, May 4
Institute for Family Business 2018 Spring Symposium − Baylor University’s John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise will host the Institute for Family Business 2018 Spring Symposium from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Center (Rooms 143 and 144) of the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, 1621 S. Third St. Conference leaders will discuss complexities of business ownership and the compounding issues that family brings. The biblical charge to seek wisdom from a multitude of counsel forms the bedrock of the 2018 Spring Symposium. For more information, visit the business website.
