B.o. Baker to Speak in Chapel-Forum Oct. 27

The Rev. B.O. Baker will speak to Baylor University students at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, during Chapel-Forum in Waco Hall.
Baker has occupied a respected, influential place among Southern Baptists for more than 45 years.
A graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Baker was an original member of the Youth Revival Movement of the 40's and 50's. Baker also has served as trustee of Dallas Baptist University, vice-president of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and trustee of the Baptist Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
In 1983, Baker was chosen to receive the Southwestern Seminary Distinguished Alumni Award. Baylor University honored him with the James Huckins Founder's Day Award in 1985 and in 1987 with the W.R. White Meritorious Service Award.
