Alumni Reunion Dinners to be Held During Homecoming Weekend

Alumni from all over the world will converge in Waco for the 1997 Baylor University Homecoming festivities beginning Oct. 31. Included in the celebration are special dinners honoring the classes of 1947 and 1972.
The Class of 1947 celebrates its 50th anniversary with a special dinner at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. The Class of 1972 hosts a dinner honoring its 25th anniversary at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. Graduates of these classes and their guests are invited to attend the dinners.
In addition to the 50- and 25-year reunion dinners, graduates of the classes of 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1996 will gather at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Chisholm Hall in the Waco Convention Center for a buffet dinner.
The Golden Diploma Dinner for the classes of 1912 through 1946, will provide an opportunity for all these classes to meet and visit. The dinner will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, in the Harrington House, a faculty dining center.
Tickets for all the alumni dinners are available from the Baylor Alumni Association and are $13 each.
