Faculty Exhibit to Open Oct. 20

October 15, 1997

The books, art work and music of 45 Baylor University faculty members will be featured in the second annual "Baylor Authors and Artists at Work" exhibit which opens Monday, Oct. 20, in the foyer of the Moody Memorial Library.
To qualify for the exhibit, the faculty member's works were either published, recorded or exhibited from Sept. 1996 to Sept. 1997. Photographs of the faculty members and comments regarding their works will accompany each display.
"This will give students a chance to see what their professors do outside of the classroom," said David Rodgers, assistant acquisitions librarian and chair of the exhibit committee. "It's also a way to celebrate the work the faculty does."
The exhibit, on display through November, will feature works from members of the philosophy, marketing, political science, English, chemistry, accounting, religion, information systems, nursing, anthropology, environmental studies, African studies, history, modern foreign languages, biology, journalism, theater arts, music and art departments, as well as the George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
