Baylor to Host Two Student Council Workshops in July

June 30, 1997

Baylor University will host two workshops, July 7-11 and July 21-25, for the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC).
Approximately 300 Texas high school students will attend the camps.
The camps will consist of large group sessions which will later break into small practice groups. The small groups will meet together like a working high school council and participants will practice the skills they learn in large seminars. Both group sessions are designed to develop the leadership skills in each of the students.
Campers will stay in Baylor residence halls and will eat in on-campus dining facilities.
TASC has 15 similar workshops at other Texas universities.
