Baylor Captures 5 Case Awards

WACO, Texas -- Baylor University recently won five awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) during an awards ceremony in Little Rock, Ark.
The Baylor Alumni Association won two awards for stories in The Baylor Line, the association's alumni magazine, and for best web site. Paula Tanner is editor of The Baylor Line.
Baylor's Office of Public Relations was awarded two prizes for its work during Baylor's first on-campus dance held April 19, 1996.
More than 1,200 entries were judged in the competition this year, CASE officials said at the awards presentation.
CASE is one of the world's largest educational organizations. It has 2,800 members comprised mainly of colleges, universities and independent educational institutions and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
