Baylor University to Host Caedmon's Call

Baylor University and University Baptist Church are co-sponsoring the Christian music group, Caedmon's Call, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in Waco Hall.
Caedmon's Call is comprised of seven members: Derek Webb, Cliff Young, Danielle Glenn, Todd Bragg, Aric Nitzberg, Garrett Buell and Randy Holsapple from Houston. The group started four years ago and helped start the Metro Bible Study at First Baptist Church in Houston. This will be their fourth performance in Waco. They have two previous releases and recently signed a new record deal with Warner Alliance. The new CD will have six revised old songs and six new songs.
This performance will be the group's first performance following it's release by Warner Alliance. Dana Lee Haines, assistant director of student activities, said more than 700 tickets have been sold and that more than a thousand are expected to attend. Tickets are on sale in the Bill Daniel Student Center for $7 and will be on sale before the concert for $7. CD's also will be available at the concert.
