Ethics Topic of Baylor/waco Breakfast Feb. 25

February 24, 1997

The Baylor University Continuing Education Department and the Waco Chamber of Commerce will host Breakfast at Baylor at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Harrington House on the Baylor campus featuring Dr. Richard Chewning.
During the breakfast, Chewning, professor of management and The Hazel and Harry Chavanne Professor of Christian Ethics in Business, will discuss "Ethics in the Marketplace." Chewning said he will discuss the tensions encountered by the business community as the historic "Work Ethic" gives way to the "Quality of Life Ethic."
The breakfast series is designed to provide the academic and business community with the opportunity to enjoy a meal, hear a brief lecture on a current issue by a Baylor faculty member, and engage in informal conversation.
Tickets for the breakfast are $10 for Chamber of Commerce members, $15 for non-members and must be reserved. For more information, or to make reservations, call Linda Goates at 752-6551.
