'Newsboys' to Present Concert in Ferrell Center Feb. 25

WACO, Texas -- The contemporary Christian music group "Newsboys" will perform at
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Ferrell Special Events Center at Baylor University as part of the Waco "Right from Wrong" campaign.
"Newsboys" has been featured on Entertainment Tonight, VH-1, CNN and Good Morning America. Their latest release, "Take Me To Your Leader," was named Billboard's Hot Shot Debut and their "Going Public" album received a Grammy nomination for Contemporary Rock Album of the Year.
The concert will focus on the "Right from Wrong" campaign's effort to give church-attending youth the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. Forty-two of the nation's top Christian youth leaders formed the campaign after agreeing that this generation's loss of a biblically-based value system was their number one concern.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $7 at the Family Bookstore in Richland Mall and the Bill Daniel Student Center, and $9 at the door.
