The guest speaker will be Candace Vogler, Ph.D., the David B. and Clara E. Stern Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago. Her lecture is titled “Christian Moral Courage.”

“Candace Vogler is one of the most interesting moral philosophers teaching and writing today,” said Darin Davis, Ph.D., director of the Institute for Faith and Learning. “Her work in ethics and philosophy of action is exemplary in its clarity, insight and imaginative force. She is also recognized as an extraordinary teacher at the University of Chicago. We are incredibly honored to have her present at our second annual Bailey Family Lecture in Christian Ethics.”
