Baptist Student Ministries to Hold Retreat

February 3, 1997

The Baylor University Baptist Student Ministries (BSM) will host a Mid-Winter Retreat on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7-8, at the RiverBend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, Texas.
The purpose of the retreat is to celebrate the mission of the Baylor BSM and help the numerous members of the BSM get to know each other. The Baylor BSM has approximately 700 active students involved in 14 different ministries.
The theme of the retreat is "Inside Out Galatians 3:1-5." The speaker for the conference is Keith Brister, pastor of First Baptist Church in Duncanville. John Burriss of Memorial Baptist Church in Houston, will serve as worship leader. The Baylor Religious Hour Choir will also minister during the retreat.
A state BSM conference will be held Feb. 21-22 in Arlington.
