International Food Fest Scheduled for Nov. 2

International students will prepare and serve dishes from their respective countries during the International Food Fest at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center at Baylor University.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste foods from many different countries. There will be taped music from the countries and some students will wear their national dress. Flags from the represented countries also will be displayed.
Baylor has students enrolled from 70 foreign countries.
"It will be a colorful, lively evening," Dr. June Rose Garrott, international student adviser, said. "The evening is planned, organized and carried out by our international students."
Tickets for the evening are available in advance at the ticket office in the Bill Daniel Student Center and the International Programs office on the first floor of Poage Legislative Library. Tickets are $4 in advance and $6 at the door.
