Interactive Video Conference Scheduled for Oct. 31

An interactive video conference, "A Workout for Your Mind - Developing New Skills to Thrive in the New Age," will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 31, in Room 109 Rogers Engineering and Computer Science Building at Baylor University.
Dr. Jennifer James, cultural anthropologist, noted author, columnist and one of the top corporate speakers in the world, will conduct the conference.
James will discuss eight skills for surviving and thriving in today's rapidly changing economy and environment. Those skills include seeing with new eyes, understanding the past to know the future, harnessing the power of myths and symbols, speeding up response time, recognizing the future, profiting from diversity, doing more with less and mastering new forms of intelligence.
The cost of the conference is $25.
