Dunn to Speak on the Salem Witchcraft Trials Oct. 30

October 25, 1996

Elizabeth E. Dunn, assistant professor of history at Baylor University, will speak about the Salem witchcraft trials during the faculty-staff lunch at noon Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Dunn taught a class on the subject last spring and was asked to speak about the Salem witchcraft trials at the faculty-staff lunch.
"It seems appropriate the day before Halloween," said Dunn. "I plan to focus on the way the witchcraft trials have been interpreted."
Dunn will also offer an evaluation of the significance of the Salem witchcraft trials in history.
