Switchfoot to Perform at Baylor on Oct. 28

WACO, Texas (Sept. 27, 2013) - The million-selling San Diego-based band Switchfoot will make a stop at Baylor University on its Fading West Tour at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Waco Hall.

The tour will promote the band's ninth studio album Fading West to be released in January 2014.

Switchfoot also will launch a documentary, which will serve as their opening act on the tour. It follows the band as they visit their favorite surf spots on their 2012 tour.

Student tickets are $15, pre-sale public tickets $20 and tickets at the door are $25. Tickets are $12 per ticket for groups of 10 or more.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on the first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center or online here. Three concerts on Switchfoot's current tour are already sold out so tickets for the Baylor stop may go fast. ABOUT SWITCHFOOT

Formed in 1996 in San Diego, Switchfoot includes five members: Jon Foreman (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Forman (bass guitar, backup vocals), Chad Butler (drums), Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboard, backup vocals) and Drew Shirley (guitar, backup vocals). The group first gained recognition in Christian music before stepping out into mainstream rock when their song, "Dare You to Move," was featured in A Walk to Remember.
