Boyd Named Director of Career Services Center

John Boyd, former Baylor University lecturer in management, has been named director of the Baylor Career Services Center.
Boyd has served in the Department of Management in the Hankamer School of Business since 1985. Before coming to Baylor, he served as a manager for Southwestern Public Service and also served in the U. S. Air Force from 1958-62.
The Career Services Center assists Baylor students and alumni in pursuing career opportunities and finding appropriate career enhancement strategies. The various services include career counseling, numerous career search resources, job workshops, and employment interviews.
Contacting the numerous departments throughout the campus is Boyd's first priority, he said.
"I want to get face-to-face with each department on campus and establish a working relationship," Boyd said.
Boyd holds degrees from Columbia University and West Texas State University.
