Alumni Association Adds Marketing Coordinator

July 3, 1996

The Baylor University Alumni Association has recently hired Marc Rylander as coordinator for development and marketing.
Rylander will work directly with Jeff Kilgore, assistant director for development and marketing. Rylander will be responsible for developing new Baylor alumni chapters across the country, new alumni programs and new alumni services for Baylor students. Gaining support for the university is Rylander's goal, he said.
"We want to do whatever it takes to get Baylor alumni together rallying behind the university," he said.
Rylander said his first goal is to develop alumni chapters in Big 12 cities.
"When our kids go somewhere in the Big 12 we want Baylor folks there and ready to host them," he said.
A May 1996 graduate of Baylor, Rylander majored in telecommunications. He is a native of Dallas. While at Baylor, he was a member of a number of student service organizations including Student Foundation and the Senior Class Presidents Committee.
