Randall Named Director of PR at Baylor

Keith Randall, formerly director of news and information, has been named director of public relations at Baylor University. He will report to Dr. Stan Madden, vice president for university marketing.
In his new role, Randall will oversee such areas as media relations, news and information, advertising, internal and external publications, photographic services and special events.
Randall holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in American Studies from Baylor. He came to Baylor in 1982 following almost 10 years as a sportswriter for the Waco Tribune-Herald.
He has won awards from the Associated Press, United Press International, the Texas Sportswriters Association and the Baptist Public Relations Association. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), holding the APR designation, and is a board member of the Central Texas Chapter of PRSA.
Randall and his wife, Joan, a teacher at Parkdale Elementary School in Waco, have two daughters, Leslie, 15, and Terrell, 11. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Woodway.
