Student Musicians to Perform at Acoustic Café

Students are welcome to relax and enjoy fellow students' musical performances at this semester's first Acoustic Café from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Student Union Building (SUB) Den.
Musicians are chosen from the Uproar Network, and this Thursday four students will perform, including Trannie Stevens, Fletcher Inzer, Melanie Silva and Scotty Swingler.
Stevens will play the keyboard with special guest vocals by Jack Spawlding, Inzer and Swingler will both sing and play guitar and Silva will sing accompanied by Mario Barbosa on the keyboard.
Acoustic Café is free for both performers and listeners, and Baylor Student Activities will provide desserts and coffee throughout the event.
The next Acoustic Café is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 10. Events also will be held in spring 2012 on Thursday, Jan. 19, and Thursday, March 22.
