Career Center to Host Interviewing Techniques Seminar

February 14, 1996

The Baylor University Career Services Center will host a seminar titled "Effective Interviewing Techniques" from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb, 15, in Kayser Auditorium in the Hankamer School of Business.
Stan Kopec will discuss and demonstrate effective interviewing techniques and strategies for campus and office interviews as well as give tips and advice on job search strategies. Kopec works in a defense systems group for Texas Instruments. He has spoken at Baylor for the past two years giving presentations and conducting practice interviews with students.
"The focus is on strategies and techniques for interviewing, but it will mainly be a general issues program," said Carolyn Muska, assistant director for recruiting at the Career Services Center.
"We've been very fortunate with the connections we have in our office, and we appreciate his (Kopec's) time here. People have been really generous with their time, coming from Plano, Houston, and all over to help us out," Muska said.
