Fundraising Conference to Be Held at Baylor

The Central Texas Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (NSFRE) will hold its annual conference at Baylor University on Feb. 19-20 in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Dr. Jonathan Lindsey, the Central Texas Chapter President of NSFRE and director of donor information and recognition, described the conference as "a development institute designed to provide information and training about fundraising for CEOs and Executives of non-profit organizations."
Sharon Perry of Campfire Inc. and Ted Miller of the Cameron Park Zoological Society are the co-chairs for the conference this year. Perry said the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, the YMCA of San Antonio, McLennan Community College, and Belton Christian Youth Center are some of the organizations scheduled to attend.
A variety of topics will be discussed at the conference including "Special Events," "The Internet," and "Personal Solicitation".
