**For Baylor Football gameday parking information and the I-35 construction impact, please click here. Also check out the Helpful Information Tools link below.**

A major, four-year reconstruction project by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is underway on a 6-mile stretch of Interstate 35 from North Loop 340 to 12th Street, significantly impacting the City of Waco and Baylor University for the duration of the project.

During the ongoing construction, please be patient, alert and resilient, plan for additional travel time to campus and “Know Before You Go” by checking traffic conditions at http://waco4bmap.org.

If you are walking or biking to and from Baylor and the downtown side of I-35, use the crosswalks under 4th/5th Streets or University Parks Drive. Please be aware that this access is in an active construction zone, so be alert and mindful of drivers when walking through that area. *Do not attempt to cross the interstate on foot.*

  • Check real-time traffic conditions ahead of time at http://waco4bmap.org – part of the BE SAFE BE SEEN initiative – to help you plan and safely navigate routes through the construction zone, whether by car, bike or on foot.

  • Follow @TxDOTWacoPIO on Twitter for up-to-date lane closure and construction information.
  • FOR BAYLOR FOOTBALL GAMEDAY PRE-PAID PARKING: The WAZE app has been specifically updated to get fans to their pre-purchased parking location in the most time efficient manner. This system takes into consideration I-35 construction, gameday road closures and corridor capacity that are not available and/or used by other mapping websites or GPS systems. Do not use other internet mapping applications, which may bring you into traffic congestion. Please select your parking location (Ferrell Center, Dutton, etc.), not McLane Stadium. (For specific directions/parking for pre-paid lots, go to www.baylorbears.com/parking.)
  • OTHER BAYLOR FOOTBALL GAMEDAY PARKING INFORMATION: Please visit www.baylor.edu/kickoffparking. For additional gameday policies, see the McLane Stadium Fan Guide.
