What is Mayborn Reach Out?

The Mayborn Reach Out programs serve as a way for the museum to reach new and under-served audiences. Community Days, Borrow a Membership, and the Museums For All program provide visitors of all means access to the resources within the museum.

Community Days

Special days at the Mayborn Museum packed with fun. Visitors can explore the Discovery Center, our natural history exhibits, and the Gov. Bill & Vara Daniel Historic village without an admission fee.

Borrow a Membership

The Mayborn Museum has partnered with the Waco/McLennan County and Hewitt Public Libraries to offer library patrons the opportunity to borrow a museum membership for no cost. Visit your nearest branch to check out a membership for free admission to the museum. (note, a limited number of memberships are available to borrow)
