Weekend birthday parties at the Mayborn Museum are $225* for museum members and $275 for non-members.
Thursday evening parties are $175* for museum members and $225 for non-members. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking which is deducted from the total cost.
*Museums for All and Individual level memberships are not eligible for birthday party discount.
Please call (254)710-7526 Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm to book a party. Party space and dates are limited, please book well in advance. Reservations require a non-refundable $50 deposit. Full payment is required on the day of the party.
How do I book a birthday party at the museum?
Call (254)710-7526 or email any time from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday to inquire about availability. Reservations require a non-refundable $50 deposit, the remainder of the reservation fee is due the day of the party.
How many guests may attend?
Due to the size of the party rooms, no more than 35 attendees *including family* can attend birthday parties at the Mayborn Museum
Can I see the room before booking?
Yes. Inquire in person at the museum.
What does the party fee include?
A private birthday party room for 2 hours with early access (30 minutes prior to party start), light decorations (paper goods, plastic ware, and tablecloths), Mayborn Museum t-shirt for birthday child, and admission for up to 35 attendees to the museum and all exhibits.
Can my guests visit the museum after the party is over?
Yes. Your guests are welcome to explore the museum during, or after the party. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I bring outside food like pizza or hamburgers?
No. Unfortunately we are unable to allow outside food or catering into the museum.
What do we do when the party is over?
Please visit the ticketing desk after your party to check out.
