The first exhibition of the fall semester has arrived. The Martin Museum is proud to display works by renowned artists Lee Edwards, Willie Ray Parish, and Rudy Pozzatti. Gallery I houses masterfully crafted collages by Lee Edwards, and striking sculpture by Willie Ray Parish. Gallery II holds a retrospective collection of prints by internationally acclaimed printmaker, Rudy Pozzatti.
Lee Edwards is a practicing psychologist who earned his PhD from the University of Texas, Austin. He is represented by the Wally Workman Gallery in Austin, Texas.
Willie Ray Parish is from El Paso, Texas and studied art at the University of Mississippi and received an MFA from the Otis Art Institute. He teaches sculpture at the University of Texas, El Paso.
Rudy Pozzatti is a highly acclaimed master printmaker and Distinguished Professor Emeritus from the University of Indiana where he headed the printmaking department.
The exhibition opens on September 3 and runs through October 8. All three artists will be giving talks on the following dates:
Rudy Pozzatti: September 16 at 2:30pm
Lee Edwards: September 23 at 3:00pm
Willie Ray Parish: October 8 at 2:00pm
