Elisa Crowder earned a BME in Choral Music from Baylor University. She holds Orﬀ Level I and II certiﬁcates from Southern Methodist University. She spent 35 years in public schools, mainly as an elementary music educator.
Elisa has directed Children’s Choirs in several Waco area churches and is currently involved as the “Master Teacher” for Oso Musical. Oso Musical provides free music classes for special needs children. The class also oﬀers Baylor music majors the opportunity to learn to teach these wonderful children.
A native of Dallas, Elisa is an ardent supporter of all of the arts. She has been involved in music, dance and theater since childhood. Although she has never received formal training, she enjoys dabbling in a variety of art forms including painting and photography.
