Tommy is the Special Collections Processing Archivist at the W. R. Poage Legislative Library. He joined the Poage team at the end of April 2019 following several years at The Texas Collection (2011-2013, 2016-2019).

Tommy graduated with a Bachelor’s from Messiah College in December 2009 and earned his Master’s in History at Baylor University in 2012. Since then, he has processed nearly 100 archival collections pertaining to a wide range of topics including Baylor University, military history, politics, and religion. He is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists and the Society of Southwest Archivists.

Tommy met his wife Rachel when they both interned at The Texas Collection. They have been married since 2013 and have a mischievous cat named Minerva. Tommy attends First Baptist Church of Elm Mott and enjoys reading fantasy novels, watching baseball, and going to the movies.
