2023 Translated into Song: Robert Browning and a Picture at Fano - 2023 Browning Day
This year's Browning Day celebration at Armstrong Browning Library & Museum features Henan University Professor of British Literature Kevin A. Morrison and his lecture "Translated into Song: Robert Browning and a Picture at Fano." In his presentation, Morrison will delve into the history of the poem, the significance it held to Browning, and how Browning refined his sensory alertness to and perceptual engagement with historical materiality.
