Bethany McLemore Stewart holds a doctorate and master’s in historical musicology from The University of Texas at Austin, where she researched 19th-century women in popular music performance. She’s held positions in administration and event planning, in musicology research and teaching at Baylor & UT, and as a copy editor for artists and scholars. She is currently the Program Associate for the Oral History Association, which is now headquartered at Baylor’s Institute for Oral History.
