2021 Why Gospel Music Matters featuring Robert Darden and Robert Marovich

Gospel scholars Robert Darden, professor of journalism at Baylor University, and Robert Marovich, author and Gospel music collector, will present a lecture on the importance and impact of Black Gospel music in American history. The lecture is held in conjunction with the grand opening and dedication of the Black Gospel Archive & Listening Center space in Moody Memorial Library. The event is free and open to the public.
