Lela Lam came to the Baylor Law Library in May 2015 as the public services specialist for circulation and reserves. She works at the circulation desk where her duties include assisting clients with library questions, conducting library tours, and shelving materials.

Lela previously worked nights and weekends in Baylor's Moody and Jones Libraries, where she assisted clients with research and circulation questions. She graduated from Baylor University in 2011 with a BA in journalism. Lela initially became involved in the library field as a student assistant at the Central Libraries in 2009 before transitioning to a full-time staff role in 2011.

When not working, Lela enjoys practicing Russian, playing guitar, and planning her next international voyage with her husband. So far she has spent a semester in Russia, and has also visited Morocco, Australia, and Germany. Lela is pursuing a Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs part time at Baylor.
