Providing access to library resources during periods of disruption remains a top priority of the University Libraries. To meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff who are working and researching remotely, the Libraries now offer two options for remote retrieval of library materials.
For Baylor-affiliated researchers (students and faculty), we offer a service for providing access to materials that the library does not own. To request this service, follow the steps on our Keep Learning page here: https://researchguides.baylor.edu/continuity/osofast
For Baylor faculty, the Digitization and Digital Preservation Services group offers "digitization on demand" services - specifically to support the provision of teaching resources that are not accessible because all teaching is online - including digitizing books (chapters or cover-to-cover), slides, audiovisual materials, and other course- or research-related materials, either owned personally by the faculty member or available from the Libraries' holdings. Full details at baylor.edu/library/digitization. Click the link for the Digitization Request form; you will be prompted for your BearID and password to access the form. Restrictions apply.
Patron note: These services are offered on an as-available basis and may be delayed or unavailable depending on staffing levels and conditions related to local "shelter in place" or other pandemic-related executive orders. We appreciate your patience as we navigate rapidly unfolding conditions while providing the highest possible standard of service.
