Mary Schrader is a Library Host at the Armstrong Browning Library. She greets visitors and works on archival projects. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Mary is a graduate of Texarkana Junior College. She also received a B.B.A. from Baylor University and a Master’s in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Texas at Austin. Her thesis focused on junior college business courses in Texas.

Mary taught at Navarro Junior College and at high schools in Marlin, Hubbard, and Waco. After teaching for 39 years, Mary worked in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business, assisting instructors with their computer software. She then worked in Baylor’s Retired Professors Office before coming to the Armstrong Browning Library.
