International Education Week is an annual opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and cultural exchanges worldwide. The initiative was created by the U.S. Department of State in partnership with the U.S. Department of Education as part of their efforts to promote programs that prepare people for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. This year's International Education Week will be held November 13-17, 2017.
The Baylor Libraries proudly present a display of international flags that represent the home countries of many Baylor students from around the globe. Take a walk around Allbritton Foyer to see the full array of colors that make up the Baylor community. In addition, the Moody first floor elevator lobby boasts a display of photos from around the globe taken by Baylor students who went abroad last year. The photos were submitted for a juried competition and the top winners in three ccategries are on display.
It is our sincere hope that by immersing yourself in the display of flags and exploring the exhibited photos will expand your horizons and aid you in understanding the profound connections we have to people literally half a world away.
