The mission of the Baylor University Libraries is to support excellence in teaching and learning, enhance research and discovery, and foster scholarship and success by providing academic life centers, scholarly resources, and technological innovation.
University Libraries and ITS partner at Baylor, making the libraries a key source of technology on campus. Research using the Browzine app, online journals and E-books, and Smithsonian-worthy digital collections. Did you know, the library is home to a digital scholarship program which includes a 20'x4' high resolution screen in our Visualization Studio?
TechPoint, in the Garden Level of Moody Library, is a hub for various creative technologies and anchors the premier on-campus study spot. Open 24 hours a day with a Starbucks nearby, students flock to the Study Commons to meet and study. Check out our Street View tour.
TechPoint staff can loan you academic technology; support Airbear, mail, clickers, and PawPrints; and book group project spaces for collaboration. Creative technologies include audio and video recording in our Media Lab, a VR Studio, and a growing makerspace.
