Independence Coffee Company Unveils Baylor Blends

Independence Coffee Company presented its Baylor Signature Series of coffees on Monday, August 18, 2008, at 11:00am in the Baylor Bookstore. Over 100 people tried the new blends and met Independence Coffee founders Ragan and Christi Bond. The new blends are available for purchase at the Baylor Bookstore and online at A percentage of the purchase price from each Baylor Signature Line coffee sold goes to the Baylor University Libraries to support preservation work at the Old Baylor campus in Independence, Texas.

The Baylor Signature Series features the following Baylor-themed coffee blends: Oso Delicious (Chocolate Caramel); Homecoming Special (Crème Brule); That Good Ol' Baylor Line (Authentic Texas Pecan); That Good Ol' Baylor Line - Decaf (Authentic Texas Pecan); 1845 Charter Blend (Central and South American blend); 1845 Charter Blend - Decaf (Central and South American blend); Bruin Brew (Cinnamon-Hazelnut); Sic 'Em Special (Multi-Origin Dark Roast). A Diadeloso blend is under development and will be ready for distribution in Spring 2009. The Homecoming Special blend will change from year to year.
