Libraries and Department of Wellness Partner to Offer Power Naps, Yoga for Fall Finals

The Wellness Department will be offering R&R (NASA 26-minute Power Nap) sessions at Moody Library room #104. A 1995 NASA study found that a “26-minute “Power” nap improve performance by 34% and alertness by 54%. Participants will nap for 26 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of light total body stretches.

PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ARRIVE 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH SESSION.

LOCATION: Moody 104 Active Learning Lab (Near the 1st Floor Info Desk)

SESSIONS:

TUESDAY, DEC. 4TH:

7 pm, 9 pm: 30-minute yoga

6 pm, 8 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, Midnight: 26-minute power naps

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5TH:

6 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, Midnight, 1 am: 26-minute power naps

THURSDAY, DEC. 6TH:

2 pm, 3 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 p.m., 10 pm, 11 pm, Midnight, 1 am: 26-minute power naps

FRIDAY, DEC. 7TH:

3 pm: 26-minute power nap

4 pm: 30-minute yoga

MONDAY, DEC. 10TH:

7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm: 26-minute power naps
