Waco Showing Scheduled for ABL Staff Member's Award-Winning Documentary

Armstrong Browning Library staff member Melvin Schuetz, who served as a co-producer on the documentary film "Chesley Bonestell: A Brush With The Future," will host a showing of the movie at the Waco Hippodrome Theater on October 29th as part of Baylor's Student Activities "Movie Mondays" series. Tickets to the showing are free and may be procured at this link.

The film, which explores the life and legacy of influential artist Chesley Bonestell, has been shown at numerous film festivals and conventions over the past year, and won the 2018 Audience Award in "Art, Architecture and Design" at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the 2018 Award for Best Documentary at the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival.

Schuetz was recently honored with a resolution from the State of Texas put forth by District 56 State Representative Charles "Doc" Anderson for his work on the film.
