Enable Cisco Webex in Canvas


To enable Cisco Webex within your Canvas course, sign into Canvas and select the course you want to use to create Webex meetings. Click on Settings on the left, then the Navigation tab.



Scroll down to find Cisco Webex, then click on the three dots to the right and select Enable. The Cisco Webex box will now appear in the top list. You can click and drag any of the boxes in the top list to adjust the order in which they will appear on the left.

Once you have made these changes, scroll down and click Save. You will now see Cisco Webex in the list on the left.



Click on the Cisco Webex tab on the left to go to your Webex page. The first time you click this link, you will be taken to a Setup page. 



In the box that says "Choose your features," check the boxes by "Virtual Meetings" and "Office Hours" then click the Apply button (Classroom Collaboration is NOT supported).
Scroll down to the box that says "Authorize with LMS" and click the Authorize button. This will open a pop-up window where you will need to click Authorize again.



You can now click on Virtual Meetings at the top left and begin scheduling Webex meetings.
