Digital Library Services and Systems

What do we do?
We are the Digital Library Services and Systems group in Library and Academic Technology Services. We manage the technology-based resources and services within the library including, but not limited to:
  • Assist with collection development for electronic resources
  • Manage OneSearch, the Libraries' online system
  • Digitize the scholarly materials that are found in libraries throughout the campus and make them accessible through the Baylor Digital Collections
  • Oversee the Libraries web site
  • Manage library course reserves
  • Enable off-campus access to electronic resources
  • Provide copyright assistance
  • Provide RefWorks Bibliographic Management Service
  • Provide TurnItIn Plagiarism Prevention/Detection Service

Brenda Anderson
Information Specialist / Course Reserves
Manages the library's course reserves, both print and electronic.

Stephen Bolech
Academic Consultant -- Audio/Video Digitization
Digitizes and documents rare, fragile and sensitive audio/video materials for the Baylor University Libraries.

Billie Peterson-Lugo
Associate Professor and Director, Digital Library Services and Systems
Manages Digital Library Services and Systems and provides assistance to library personnel and clients with BEARdocs, electronic resources, RefWorks, copyright questions, and more.

Allyson Riley
Digitization Technology Support Specialist
Coordinates workflow, student worker training, and technology support for digitization projects.

Denyse Rodgers
Associate Professor and Assistant Director, Library Systems
Provides assistance to library staff and clients with OneSearch, electronic resources, technology purchasing, teleconferences, webinars, and more.

Libby Shockley
Information Specialist
Manages collection of usage data, assists in digitization projects, assists with some system maintenance

Darryl Stuhr
Assistant Director for Digital Preservation Services
Identifies, coordinates, and manages digitization projects that are developed from library and other university research resources.

Travis Taylor
Academic Consultant -- Audio/Video Digitizaiton
Digitizes and documents rare, fragile and sensitive audio/video/film materials for the Baylor University Libraries.

We are located on the Garden Level of Moody Library.
