If an item that you need is checked out, you may place a hold request. The item will then be held for you when it is returned, at which time it will be held for pick-up for 7 days and you will be notified through your Baylor e-mail account. If you do not check out the item within this hold period, the request will be canceled automatically.
To place a hold request, use the "Request" link in the OneSearch record. A request form will appear below; optionally, indicate a date "not needed after" and any comments to the staff. Then click, "Send Request."
You can monitor your requests in the Library Account area within OneSearch. Or, contact the Main Circulation Desk (Moody Library, 1st floor - 254.710.6702) to check the status of a hold request and your place in queue. Holds requests are processed in the order received.
