Access to Webex and BigBlueButton within Canvas will end at the end of the spring term. Microsoft Teams and Zoom will serve as Baylor's videoconferencing solutions moving forward.

We have received notification from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education that Baylor University has achieved Research 1 status, joining the nation’s top research institutions as a doctoral university with very high research activity and as a preeminent Christian research university.

The Baylor Libraries' OneSearch online catalog will be offline due to a data center migration from Saturday, May 29, at 8:00 p.m. until at least Sunday, May 30, at 8:00 p.m. As a result, all of the Baylor Libraries will be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and also on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Instructure is hosting a series of livestreamed support sessions on Monday, August 17, to assist faculty with common Canvas issues. If you need assistance with creating quizzes, using Canvas' gradebook, developing assignments on the platform, cross-listing course sections, and importing course content these sessions are for you!

During the week of August 17-21, the Baylor Libraries' Learning Spaces team will test the auto-recording functionality of classrooms across the Baylor campus. On August 18-19, they will offer training for faculty on how to operate each of the four different types of our technology-rich classrooms.
