At LeaderShape, we are not talking about how to run a better meeting, how to get elected to an office, or how to conduct a bake sale. We are talking about changing the world. We are talking about getting out of your comfort zone and becoming the tipping point that changes everything.
Any meaningful accomplishment, idea, business, or cause began with one person saying, “I can do this better.” Unfortunately, many people are happy with the way things are and that is why nothing changes. We are talking about leading… we don't care about your title. We care about the results. That is what we are...we are LeaderShape.
We want to be a part of creating a just, caring, thriving world. Participants of our programs and members of our community know what that world is like because they have tasted it…even if only for a day. And they want more. Until we have that world, there is LeaderShape and we have work to do.
LeaderShape’s mission is “to transform the world by increasing the number of people who lead with integrity, and a healthy disregard for the impossible.” And one way they strive to accomplish this mission is by hosting sessions of the Institute across the country.
This dynamic 6-day immersion experience is a great fit for Baylor’s mission of educating men and women for worldwide leadership and service! During the institute (which we host with both TCU and SMU) up to 20 students from each respective institution will engage in four intense days of dialogue and interactive self-discovery in a supportive Learning Community. Likewise, the Institute challenges all participants to lead with integrity, while working towards a vision grounded in their core values.
Furthermore, during the institute, Baylor, SMU, & TCU students will explore not only what they want to do, but who they want to be. Intentional, challenging, and exciting, the week is intended to produce a breakthrough in the leadership capacity of participants — benefiting our students individually, our Baylor community, and the organizations/companies that students will go on to lead and serve in the future.
