Created in 2011, the Peer Leader Program provides advanced leadership opportunities for students who want to help guide, educate, support and teach Baylor students through building meaningful and educative relationships with them. It advances the educational growth, leadership skills, and personal development of upper-year peer leaders by equipping them to educate and empower their peers to navigate and maximize their Baylor experience.
The Peer Leader Program offers six different iterations to allow students to operate in areas of their strengths and interests. All iterations of of the program are actively making a difference on our campus. Some work in one-on-one relationships with students, some mentor in group settings. All leaders take a 3xxx level leadership course to engage in their own personal development and engage in a mentoring relationship with a faculty or staff member.
