Every year we look forward to the Academy of the Advocate in St Andrews - it is a wonderful place and an incredible learning experience that we get to share with great people, like you. So, I am deeply disappointed to inform you that Baylor University has canceled all study abroad programs for the summer of 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This cancellation extends to the Academy of the Advocate. This cancellation is necessary to support the global effort to fight the spread of the virus and to ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and the wider community.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of the cancellation.
We will resume the Academy in July 2021. If you haven’t graduated by then, we hope that you will consider applying for next year’s program. We are committed to making it the best offering of the program yet.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Stephen Rispoli (Stephen_Rispoli@Baylor.edu).
