Angela Cruseturner Named Director Career Development

Angela Cruseturner has been named Director of Career Development for Baylor Law School. Prior to be named director, Cruseturner served for four years as the Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment at Baylor Law. Mike Berry, who has served as Director of Career Development, is retiring.

As director of career development, Cruseturner will assist students with their job search by providing counseling on career choices and opportunities. She also will coordinate recruiting efforts with potential employers and conduct a variety of career information and education programs for students.

Cruseturner received a B.A. in history from Baylor University. She attended Baylor Law School and received her JD in 2002. After law school,she worked for two years as a staff attorney at Pakis, Giotes, Page and Burleson, P.C., and then worked as a staff attorney for Judge Bill Vance at the Tenth Court of Appeals.

She participates in numerous civic and professional organizations, such as the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association, for which she is the immediate past President. She was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the statewide Texas Young Lawyers Association. Cruseturner is a graduate of Leadership Waco and was named the Outstanding Young Lawyer of McLennan County in 2007.

She and her husband, Ashley, live in Waco with their two children. Her oldest son was an infant when she entered law school and her youngest son was welcomed to this world in between quarters. For this reason, Angela has a special affinity for assisting students with families.
